A young French man (why young, just a guess actually) called Kevin Amoros, seems to have met the love of his life in an airport. The problem is that he didn’t get her number or her name for that matter, but love “gives you wings” as they say in French. So he placed an advert through Google, hoping that someone could help him find her, or that the love of his life would read the Google ad! Read Oilman’s account of the event !

My dear friends Christine and François brought me a thank you note on Sunday. I’d helped out over the phone with Windows XP installation support. Passing on knowledge from having worked at a software company !
However, guess what happens when you put the thank you note on an external hard drive that uses the aluminium casing to enhance heat dissipation :
The chocolate slowly melts as the two hard drives in it dissipate their heat !
It’s going to be fun when I get to the bottom, maybe I’ll start sharing them when I get there

I’ve just got back from a night at the theatre (I was doing the lights and sound). Two plays, one called “Three Sleepless Nights” by Caryl Churchill followed by “Mountain Language” by Harold Pinter. In the first play by Caryl Churchill there is a scene where a woman lying in bed and in despair cuts her wrist(s). On scene I bring the main lights down and shine a spot light on the sheet that has (fake) red blood that can be seen.
I must explain, this is in France, but tonight an older lady started shouting out saying that with all that was going on (i.e. the unrest and strikes I suppose) having this type of thing on display was disgraceful and she wanted her money back!!! She carried on about it for several minutes stopping and starting again with people from the audience asking her to leave / be quiet etc.
